Fishing – 5 Miles North

Mountain View is world famous for trout fishing. The best fishing can be found where the Sylamore Creek flows into the White River.  Contact a local guide service or enjoy some peace and quiet fishing in the many offshoots and quiet streams.

The best time to enjoy kayaking the local streams is in the spring when water is flowing well. There are several rivers within short distance that run all year. You can bring your own equipment or contact a local outfitter to book a memorable trip. We can offer information.
