About the Park

Mountain View RV Park and Guest Motel is located in the beautiful town of Mountain View, situated in the Ozark Mountains of North Central Arkansas. Not only are we known as the “Folk Music Capital of the World,” but we are also blessed to be surrounded by endless outdoor activities. By starting your Ozark adventure with us, you will be very close to incredible hiking trails, refreshing creeks and rivers, epic mountain biking, world famous trout fishing, abundant hunting and twisting mountain roads to enjoy the scenery via car or motorcycle. Our park is located on the edge of the city limits which will allow for quick access to festivals and events, local shopping (a big box store is within walking distance) and restaurants, but our backyard will give you one of the best views around as it overlooks the valley below and the mountain range to the north. The sunrise from our backyard cannot be beat.

Guests can enjoy the following onsite features here at Mountain View RV Park and Guest Motel. We have the only level Concrete pads in town, both pull through and back in sites. Feel free to use our On-site laundry facility and clean bathhouse. Two rec rooms provide a meeting space for larger groups. Both can be rented by general public when not in use by our registered RV Park guests. Small fire pits are available in select areas. We have added a large fire pit and swing behind the doubles building. An additional community fire pit is located next to the Rally Room in the center of our park.

Motorcycle covered parking is located behind the doubles building.

Non-guests can use our public dump station for a small fee.

Our newly updated Guest Motel consists of 8 motel suites (4 King rooms, 3 rooms with 2 Queen beds and 1 room with 2 double beds) with small dining area containing microwave and mini-fridge. Our 2 mini-cabins come with a full kitchen (each with a Queen bedroom and a sofa sleeper in living room). All rooms have an outdoor seating area and most offer a panoramic view of the mountains.

About the Owners

Shawna fell in love with the Mountain View area over 20 years ago and introduced Greg to the beauty in 2014. The scenery and outdoor activities were a great escape from the hustle and bustle of city life in Houston, Texas. As our first step in leaving the chaos, we purchased our vacation / forever home south of Mountain View in 2015. We spent as much time as possible enjoying short escapes to our peace of heaven until COVID disrupted the world, which also presented a great opportunity for us to leave the corporate world behind and jump into this great unknown. We became the proud parents (owners) of the Mountain View RV Park and Guest Motel in November of 2020. We are not RV people and knew nothing about owning an RV Park / Motel business, but all of the pieces fell into place and we know "Yes, it's a God thing..." that we are here. We love our life in the Ozarks and we enjoy sharing our knowledge about the area with most anyone who will listen. We are a small family owned and operated business. Shawna's son, Steven, who serves as the full time onsite manager, has called Mountain View home since 2015. He is will be happy to make sure you have everything to make the most of your stay.

We have loved becoming part of this incredible community and enjoy meeting each and every person that comes in the door. Our goal is to make our Park your "home away from home" and we hope that you will leave feeling more like family and less like a guest.
